Three racing options offer great opportunity to get fit, support Laurelville
Here’s an opportunity that just might awaken your inner runner. On May 2, 2010, Pittsburgh will again host the Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon as well as a half marathon and marathon relay. The 2009 race marked a return of the event and enjoyed great participation— registration maxed out at 10,500—as well as citywide enthusiasm and great running weather.
This year, Laurelville has determined to jump in the race, too. Several Association members will be raising money for camp scholarships allotted for youth and adults with financial hardships who wish to attend programs at Laurelville.
