  Program structure
The Values-Based Leadership Program is designed to create a community of learning – in which speakers and participants interact with and learn from each other. It is structured to accommodate many different learning styles, incorporating:

“This event exceeded my expectations ... the two-phase meeting times allowed for reflection and practice between sessions.”

Beryl Jantzi, pastor, Harrisonburg Mennonite Church

  • formal presentations
  • built-in times for reflection
  • self-assessment exercises
  • peer discussions
  • informal talks
  • one-on-one mentoring
  • devotions and informal fellowship
A two-session event
Why two separate sessions? During the between-session time, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to put what you’ve learned from the first session into practice. You continue to assess your strengths and weaknesses – and you “try out” new leadership skills. Discover what works for you and what doesn’t. Then bring your personal experiences, challenges, and questions at the second session for resolution.
