Day Camp Counselors
Laurelville is hiring Day Camp counselors for summer 2017! The Day Camp counselor is responsible for planning, leading, and implementing program activities for children in a small group setting. They must possess a Christ-like attitude to serve our youth and a desire to encourage growth. The counselor will provide high quality outdoor educational and recreational experiences for participants that focus on Laurelville’s core values. To learn more about the job, click here!
Ropes Course Facilitator
Laurelville is hiring several ropes course facilitators. Ropes Course Facilitators will be trained on leading a group through our low ropes course. Facilitators will need to feel comfortable leading groups of all ages through the different elements. As groups request time at our low ropes course, a Laurelville staff member will check the availability of the facilitators and assign those available to the group. Facilitators will be paid hourly. Summer Camp Counselors
We’re looking for counselors who possess a love for Jesus Christ and a desire to encourage growth and discipleship to join our Summer Camp staff. Counselors and Camp Directors are required to attend Summer Camp Orientation which is June 16-June 18. Counselors are expected to attend the Sunday afternoon staff meeting at the beginning of each week and stay at camp through Friday afternoon’s staff debrief meeting. Counselors are expected to assist in taking photos, coordinating games, instructing crafts, leading outdoor activities, and providing good care based on the policies explained at orientation. Counselors who are musically gifted are invited to help lead worship. See below for extended summer work opportunities.
Summer Camp Craft Director
We’re looking for a Craft Director with a desire to encourage growth and discipleship to join our Summer Camp staff. The Craft Director will be in charge of planning and instructing crafts at designated times throughout each weekday of camp. The Craft Director is invited to spend the week at camp but has the option to commute.
Summer Camp Nurse
We’re looking for nurses who desire to provide care for our campers. We typically have a different nurse provide care each week, although he/she is invited to help more than one week. The Camp Nurse is expected to attend the Sunday afternoon staff meeting, assist with registration, and stay until 12:30 pm on Friday (Wednesday at 6:30 pm for Mini Camp).
Laurelville is now offering internship opportunities for those interested in working in the camp ministry field. As an intern, you will gain experience in various departments. During your time here at Laurelville, you’ll be working in multiple areas of our camp ministry such as: office administration, guest services, facilitating ropes course, food service, maintenance, and housekeeping. Interns must take initiative, be flexible, and follow the policies of Laurelville. Minimum of a high school diploma is required. The internship will begin June 5th and last until August 11th. Interns will be provided housing and paid a stipend. Apply now, and join our staff this summer!

Family Camp Weekend July 28-30
Assist with registration, outdoor activities, games, taking photos, and support the Laurelville Program Staff.
Laurelville August 1-4
Support different departments at Laurelville.
Friendship Week August 6-9
Facilitate games, Bible lessons, worship, and other activities during this camp meant for people with disabilities and their families. Other tasks would include taking photos and helping with registration.
