Laurelville Mennonite Church Center serves over 13,000 people annually here in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania. 2017 Staff Openings:
We’re looking for self-starters who possess an eye for detail and love to clean. 3-4 days/20 hours per week.
Laurelville is now offering internship opportunities for those interested in working in the camp ministry field. As an intern, you will gain experience in various departments. During you time here at Laurelville, you’ll be working in multiple areas of our camp and retreat center ministry such as: office administration, marketing, guest services, ropes course, food service, maintenance, and housekeeping. interns must take initiative, be flexible, and follow the policies of Laurelville. Minimum of a high school diploma is required. The internship is flexible based on intern’s availability and/or college requirements.
Laurelville is looking for cooks and dish-washing staff. Experience for the cook position is preferred. A cheerful person with a warm hospitable demeanor and a servant’s heart is a MUST! $7.25-$8.00/hour
Ropes Course Facilitator
Laurelville is hiring several ropes course facilitators. Ropes Course Facilitators will be trained on leading a group through our low ropes course. Facilitators will need to feel comfortable leading groups of all ages through the different elements. As groups request time at our low ropes course, a Laurelville staff member will check the availability of the facilitators and assign those available to the group. Summer Camp Nurse
We’re looking for nurses who desire to provide care for our campers. We typically have a different nurse provide care each week, although he/she is invited to help more than one week. The Camp Nurse is expected to attend the Sunday afternoon staff meeting, assist with registration, and stay until 12:30 pm on Friday. Nurses are expected to stay overnight.
