Planting Mennonite peace churches [podcast]

mauricio chenloIn this edition of the Beyond Laurelville Podcast, we talk with Mauricio Chenlo. Mauricio serves as denominational minister for church planting for Mennonite Church USA, a role that also crosses over into his work with Mennonite Mission Network.

Mauricio also recently completed translating Stuart Murray's The Naked Anabaptist (Anabautismo al Desnudo; MennoMedia, 2012) into Spanish.

In this podcast conversation, you will learn more about:

  • Why Mauricio is passionate about church planting, and what he learned through his research for Mennonite Church USA
  • How church plants differ by context and what the church planting process looks like
  • How retreats connect church planters and provide them with resources

If you're interested in attending or would like to know more about the events, feel free to contact Mauricio (MauricioC@MennoniteUSA.org or 574-523-3027).

You can also learn more about church planting in Mennonite Church USA and find some quite valuable resources at MennoniteUSA.org.
