Common Grounds &
The Natural Environment

Laurelville is situated on 600 rolling acres where guests can walk along a large creek, watch spectacular sunsets, climb to the top of Chestnut Ridge for stunning views of the Laurel Highlands, or just rest on a rocking chair and take in the quiet. Laurelville truly restores your spirit naturally!

Sometime during your stay, be sure to visit our Outdoor Chapel and our Labyrinth on
Sunset Hill. Both the Outdoor Chapel and the Labyrinth can be used for quiet times
of meditation and reflection. Sunset Hill is a must-see, of course sunset being the
best time! But anytime you go, enjoy the view, roast some marshmallows and have
some fun.

Our two gazebos, nestled in the trees, are a wonderful place to enjoy God's beautiful
outdoors. Visit with others, sit quietly and meditate, read, or play! The gazebos are a
great place to get together in daytime or evening. Adjacent fire ring just adds to the
pleasure of whatever activity your group chooses.
