Now that a fun and exciting summer has come to an end here at Laurelville we look forward to a highlight of each fall which is our Fall Gathering Weekend for Association members. This year the weekend falls on October 16-18 and here are a few reasons to mark your calendar to come visit us.
1: Fellowship with Association Members
Whether you’ve been an Association Member for ten months or ten years there will be many familiar faces around during the weekend. It is almost a reunion for many people and the time at Laurelville is a way for people to reconnect around events that are fun for all.
2: Great Food
Few people come to Laurelville and aren’t amazed by all the options of food that we offer during meal and snack times. Our kitchen staff makes delicious meals that satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. You will never be hungry when attending Fall Gathering.
3: Fall is a Beautiful Time to Come to Laurelville
The Laurel Highlands explode with color in October and the trees show off God’s creation. The cool weather is a refreshing break from a hot summer and sitting around the campfire when it is a little cool out can be a great time.
4: Come See What is New
Our staff is always working on improvements to our facility each year and Fall Gathering is a great time to see what we have done to our buildings and grounds to make visitor’s experiences that much better. There is always something new at Laurelville and we would love if you would pass along what a great place this is. Christian Retreat Centers make a difference in so many lives.
5: Have Fun!
Fall Gathering is a lot of fun! The weekend is filled with fellowship, activities for all ages, great food, and plenty of time for relaxation. Our staff looks forward to making your stay a trip you’ll never forget.
Laurelville wouldn’t be what it is without the support of our Association Members. We thank each and every one of you for all the volunteer work and monetary donations that makes our camp a great ministry to so many people.
Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”
