Laurelville Seeking Long-Term Volunteers

As of June 1, the positions of Guest Services Volunteer will be vacant.

Front-line staff make the biggest impression on Laurelville’s guests. No matter how great the service over the phone, the welcoming faces and on-the-ground interactions with staff are the lasting impressions guests will leave with.

In 2005 Laurelville created the position of Guest Services Volunteer, a year-long (or more) voluntary service position for a couple or individuals to be the welcoming faces that greet guests and meet any needs that arise during their visit.

Since then, several couples and individuals, ranging from college students to retirees, have served in the Guest Services role. Duties include greeting guests, being on-call during the weekends and light maintenance work.

Laurelville hopes to fill these positions before the busy summer season starts. Temporary and long-term volunteers will be considered.

Questions and applications can be directed to Brenda Johnson, Guest Services Coordinator at 800.839.1021 or Brenda@laurelville.org.
