Anthony Brown
Anthony Brown is a well established performer who has explored the entire repertoire of vocal music, from opera, oratorio, and art song to musical theater and spirituals. While he is an internationally acclaimed performer, he has made a specialty of presenting music describing the American experience.
In addition, he has used music as a tool to promote peace and goodwill in the world. His peace and goodwill, travels have taken him to South America, Africa, Asia and Europe. He is the founder of Peacing it Together Foundation, a not-for-profit organization which uses music as a tool to promote peace in strife torn areas in the world.
Tony has recorded four compact discs. His latest recording, “Each Other’s Light”, promotes peace, hope and justice. He is currently Artist in Residence and teaches in the Sociology Department at Hesston College. Learn more at www.anthonybrownbaritone.net.
Dwight Roth
Dwight E. Roth grew up in Berks County, Pa. and taught in the sociology department at Hesston College from 1973-2010. He currently directs the Hesston LEAD (Lifelong Education and Development) Program. Dwight’s academic interests are primarily in world religions, expressions of spirituality in the postmodern world in which we live, and intergenerational relationships. He is a certified and practicing reflexogist.
Dwight enjoys the natural world, especially the forests of the eastern U.S. and the prairie of the middle section of the United States. He is a member of Hesston Mennonite Church and St. James Episcopal Church in Wichita.
