How is the Great Whitewater Connection so affordable?
Several friends of Laurelville have donated money to subsidize the cost of this program. They are deeply committed to building stronger relationships among youth in Mennonite Church USA, and they believe that this retreat will serve as an excellent platform for making connections prior to Pittsburgh 2011. The $50 registration fee covers the cost of whitewater rafting; the remaining expenses—food, lodging, etc.—are being absorbed by the generosity of these individuals.
